RNL developed an overall master plan for an 150 acre urban renewal redevelopment project in Arvada, Colorado. RNL created a master plan, urban renewal plan, infrastructure design, and overall design guidelines and standards. The project was subsequently accepted by City Council and approved for development. RNL then competed in a developer led RFP process to select a national developer to do the first phase of the project, consisting of 15 acres of redevelopment property in the heart of the area. This innovative master plan consists of a food oriented retail district, a mixed use, mixed income multifamily housing development, a health club, and extensive civic open space, streetscape design, and community amenity space.
