One of Al Ghadeer’s two pocket park open spaces is themed as am interactive water park. The park is designed to emphasize the parks inward focus. It utilizes landform to create gently planted and human scaled mounds that shelter the park and its’ users from adjacent busy streets.

The design of the park creates two main spaces located along a peripheral walk. The walk allows visitors to easily enter from either of the two surrounding streets. Two defined spaces organize the main activity areas within the park. The first large, circular space contains an interactive water feature, playful landforms, restrooms, and covered seating locations. The second location is defined by a smaller, non-interactive water feature that helps to provide visual and auditory screening from the street, a small children’s playground, and seating area are located next to the water feature providing additional play opportunities for children using the park.
