RNL was retained by Wells Fargo Bank to relocate their existing branch facility in the Cherry Creek district of Denver. The bank is relocating to new ground floor lease space in a mixed-use parking structure in the heart of the retail district. The existing clientele in Cherry Creek prompted the RNL team to create a highly refined and sophisticated interior design for the new branch bank. The facility includes nine teller stations and workspace for personal, executive and mortgage bankers.
The interior design features wood ceilings in the bank lobby, limestone tile floors, and dark woods at the teller line and in the banking furniture. Indirect lighting creates an airy ambiance, which capitalizes on the natural light provided through the large storefront windows facing the street. Furniture systems use translucent glass panels, which are repeated in wall and soffit finish treatment.
