Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a resource and research organization for medical groups, contracted with RNL to assess current and future space needs, and develop a recommended plan to meet those needs. Alternatives included relocation or reuse of their two existing buildings, which housed both their headquarters and several tenants.

Due diligence was conducted on the buildings to assess current conditions and establish parameters for any remodel required. RNL created space standards, developed a space needs program and space plan test fits to evaluate whether they could, with reconfiguration, use of tenant space, and efficiency improvements, fit their projected space needs into the two buildings. Several space plans and restack options were explored, resulting in an approved design, as well as a phased implementation plan that accommodated remodeling while occupying the buildings. This option was priced by a contractor and compared to an alternate location. The board decided to renovate the existing buildings and the project is now complete.
