Salvation Army Downtown Denver Services Center

DENVER, COLORADO

The Downtown Denver Services Center is a mixed-use facility, developed to serve economically disadvantaged residents of the Curtis Park area, will create an architectural transition between expanding high-rise construction projects along downtown Denver the west of the site and the increasingly vibrant residential construction to the east. The facility includes education, counseling, family services and fitness centers, a dining facility and 100-seat community chapel. Upper floors feature 146 housing units grouped in pods around a series of rooftop gardens. Three district building volumes and a prayer chapel frame the garden. The project is designed to meet “Enterprise Green Communities” requirements.
