RNL was selected to provide master planning services for this site, located south of Harbin’s signature Songhua River. Plans call for a luxury hotel, prime mid to high rise office space; live/work space, and an internally focused, covered street complex supporting commercial shopping plus food and beverage. All of this will be integrated with low- to mid-rise residential space. RNL introduced a river system running from southern most point of the site to the northern most point, tying a planned water park on the south to the Songhua River on the north. At the center of the north-south system will be a central park incorporating cultural plus civic uses surrounded by high-end office and residential development.
