With the iconic Petronas Twin Towers as a backdrop, the Kuala Lumpur City Center is one of the most unique properties in Southeast Asia and most instantly recognizable. In the years since the Petronas Towers were built, the concepts of sustainability, sensitivity to climate and place and walkability have become major influences on large-scale developments world-wide. The main goals of this project were to strengthen the KLCC’s position of leadership and innovation, establish it as the premier urban regional development and maximize its value by creating a new integrated master plan that leverages the existing assets of the site in both the short term and long term.
