Changxing Dao Masterplan is conceived as a sustainable urban archipelago: a collection of discreet urban environments organized and derived from the existing interface between land and water. Changxing Dao Master Plan is designed as distinctive but unified cluster of islands creating compact, walkable and bikeable communities that both protect and enhance the scenic natural beauty of the islands through integration of water into the urban fabric.
