Metropolitan State University of Denver Student Success Building

DENVER, COLORADO

Metropolitan State University of Denver shared the Auraria Higher Education Campus with two other higher learning institutions since its inception in 1965 – until a new master plan was created to identify a neighborhood for the school’s sole use. As the first building, Student Success helps create a university identity and serves as a gateway for its students and the community. The building houses administrative functions and several unique programs designed to aid in student retention in the early years on campus. It also features a public theater that connects academic resources with the neighboring community. Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, the building is a benchmark for future development.
