Fort Carson COF

FORT CARSON, COLORADO

RNL, as part of a design-build team with Hensel Phelps, was selected to design three company operations facilities (COF) – the 4th EN COF, Heavy EN COF and 759 MP COF – for the expansion of Fort Carson. The architecture reflects the specific functional requirements of the project’s office/warehouse components and the contemporary nature of the today’s Army. Modular in nature and is based on the needs of each company, the facilities were designed with the flexibility to permit future realignment and layout of the administration and readiness modules. All this is done within highly energy efficient envelopes helped result in the LEED Gold certification for 4th EN and Heavy EN COFs and pending Silver for the 759 MP.
