The Salvation Army has served the needs of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood for more than 45 years. Working closely with the client, RNL developed a program and three-phase master plan to allow the organization to better serve the community. An extensive renovation of the existing center, including the addition of a glass lobby, will connect the facility with a full-sized gymnasium for athletics, a dance studio, educational classrooms and administrative offices. The project, which will develop over the years, will result in a campus that includes 20 units of senior housing and an adult training center highlighted by outdoor gardens, a pool, playground and skating rink.
