RNL developed a unique three-story solution that meets all of the functional requirements of this facility, including an Emergency Operations Center for the valley and booking/temporary holding space that meets Department of Corrections standards. It also features highly flexible office space with the technology infrastructure to meet both current and future needs as well as unknown changes in mission, program and/or technology. The facility provides efficient, cost-effective parking for LAPD and personal vehicles, while achieving design excellence with elegant massing and expressive tectonics.
