Early in life, Will Todd expressed to his parents that he wanted to be an Architect, and he never lost sight of that goal. Now with nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Will is responsible for managing some of RNL’s most complex projects.
Will plays an integral role in successfully guiding major projects from the initial planning phases all the way through design development, construction documentation, construction administration support, and building department review and permitting.
Will is passionate about making an impact, even if it is behind the scenes. As project manager, he provides essential support and coordination to the design team, and interfaces with a full range of consultants to ensure RNL’s projects are delivered thoughtfully and efficiently. One of his most significant projects to date is the award-winning LA Metro Division 13 Operations & Maintenance Facility in Los Angeles. Will started on this project very shortly after graduation, when the project was just in the master-planning phase. The rare experience of working on a project from pre-concept design through the final punch-list so early in his career has given him invaluable experience he takes on to each of his new projects.
At a high school in South Los Angeles, Will has been a team leader with the Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program since 2013. He also participates in Canstruction and volunteers with Nest Feathers, an organization that designs and furnishes facilities serving people in transition.
Outside of the office, you may find Will going for an early morning bike ride along the Pacific Ocean or seeking out Los Angeles’ best version of his favorite food: guacamole.
