Brian O’Donnell is driven by his lifelong passion for architecture, bringing expertise in creating sustainable, responsible and lasting designs to his role as a project architect with RNL. He offers clients knowledge in projects ranging from multifamily and government to education and office.
As a project architect with RNL, Brian brings comprehensive insight into the design and construction process on each and every one of his projects. He is highly skilled in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp. Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from multifamily and government to education and office buildings.
Since he was 16, Brian has pursued his dream of being an architect, establishing himself as an expert in sustainable, responsible and lasting design. During his time with RNL, Brian has been involved with spec writing, consultant coordination, detailing and design work for the Lakehouse on Seventeenth. Brian also has experience as a design architect for a multi-family complex in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, a project lead for a LEED Platinum/Net Zero 60,000 sf office building for Alexandria Renew Enterprises, as well as with historical and interior renovation.
Brian received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Outside of the office, Brian is passionate about exploring new places and experiencing new areas of the world, like fly fishing in the backwoods of Alaska. He enjoys rock climbing and spending time outdoors any chance he gets.
