Innovation from the outside in
RNL relocated this financial services firm from 1 1/2 floors to a single floor in a class A building in downtown Denver. The consolidation enabled all their staff to be on one larger floor plate and function more efficiently.
RNL created a space plan that met GHP’s requirement for approximately 35% private office and 65% open office. All of the offices were designed in only one size in order to create flexibility on the interior of the floorplate. This allows for workstations to surround the perimeter of the space enhancing use of all the natural light and invigorating views from the 22nd floor of downtown Denver and the front range.
The completed space is invigorating with warm tones utilizing wood flooring, stacked stone accent walls, and dynamic graphics including a world map showing the company’s locations globally. An LED screen provides stock quotes and business news in the waiting area. Contemporary art pieces are strategically located as well as branding graphics in the elevator lobby and reception area. This project is a great example of cost effective design.
