The last few years have seen many shiny new buildings pop up around Denver Union Station, and still more are planned or under construction.
International Law firm Hogan Lovells LLP is among the businesses that have relocated to one of these new buildings, moving into 1601 Wewatta last fall. The company’s Denver office signed a 15-year lease on three floors of the building, developed by Hines.
Washington- and London-based Hogan Lovells takes up 73,000 square feet in the building to house its 156 local employees. Worldwide, there are 43 Hogan Lovells offices.
Conference rooms take the place of corner offices and the office includes a space for out-of-town clients to conduct business while they’re in Denver, said Craig Umbaugh, partner at Hogan Lovells.
