The Peacock Lake development consists of 1.05 million square meters of mixed-use space, including residential, retail/commercial, boutique hotel, and clubhouse components. The design objectives for the project are embodied in the desire to create a truly unique and memorable community that is artistic, successful, sustainable and based on a sound market strategy.
In this spirit, RNL has designed a planning strategy that incorporates these principles that present themselves in many areas throughout the two main urban nodes, the Great Lake Circle and the main street Peacock Square.
The Great Lake Circle planning is a blend of the overall existing urban fabric created in the first phases of the development and an introduction of an organic planning language that works in concert with the curvilinear nature of the new water system. These two principles allow the Great Lake Circle to blend with the existing developments and also stand apart as a unique environment.
The introduction of the water amenity makes this project unique. We have introduced many diverse living experiences in and along the water way system. The retail/commercial and other community areas are also strategically situated within the canals. All of these uses are interspersed among the lakeside parks and accented with outdoor seating opportunities and unique pedestrian pathways.
