CoffeeBar’s design is driven by the equipment used to make the drinks: sleek, industrial Slayer espresso machines showcased in the center bar. The modern refinement of the machines is contrasted by reclaimed woods, industrial steel and other antiquated finishes. Constructed inside space once occupied by a stock exchange, CoffeeBar’s first location is in a thriving, pedestrian-oriented neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles and offers a variety of indoor and outdoor seating. An exterior fence that serves as a drink rail gives direct connection between customers and passersby.
