This focal point of this community, the Tallyn’s Reach Library & Municipal Campus features a branch and fire and police stations in a series of pavilions that expressing various areas of the complex. Materials used echo the surrounding plains environment, including limestone, copper, wood columns, tan brick and rough field stone. Inside the library, natural light falls from the clerestory along its central gallery, while patrons read by the stone fireplace or take in the sweeping views of the plains and Rocky Mountain Front Range. The library’s layout and mechanical and electrical design are adaptable, meaning the facility can be refigured without need for renovation.
