RNL’s design for this renovation project transformed a nondescript, one-story light industrial building into a new facility highlighted by a dramatic glass entry and lobby and enhanced landscaping. Fitzsimons Bioscience East serves as transitional space for firm’s that have outgrown the existing incubator lab and office building, yet need to retain their ties to Fitzsimons research campus. The project, which included HVAC utilities renovation, provides restrooms and a lunch patio; interior space was left in a shell condition ready for tenant improvement, and equipped to support either office or lab occupancy through the re-use of the existing air handling systems and robust electrical power.
