The Lewis Library and Technology Center includes a full-service library, educational outreach program space, computer/Internet access facilities, community meeting rooms, an auditorium and city offices/services. It also contains an art program with children’s installations, light spectrums, photographic panels, specialized graphics and two water features. The facility is the highlight of Fontana’s new city center, a civic complex created to revitalize the city core. RNL developed a conceptual master plan for the civic center and designed the Civic Center Park, which includes an entry drive, outdoor amphitheater and a public plaza with unifying streetscape.
