| View 1 is
located at the approximate entrance of the campus site. The pie-shaped area of the image
is a model of the view shed. Landforms such as ridges project through the surface of the
modeled viewshed, demonstrating an obstruction within the view. In view 1 some of the campus buildings along Lyons Ridge are obstructed from view by part of the ridge. The view also shows that the campus has been pulled closer toward US 285 and away from Belleview Avenue in order to minimize the visual impacts along Belleview Avenue.
