RNL Design’s Denver office is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with sustainable/LEED design experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in the design of mechanical systems for sustainable, preferably LEED certified, projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years’ experience
BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
PE license required
LEED accredited preferred, but not required. (Must have plans to become accredited)
USGBC membership and involvement preferred but not required
LEED certified project experience preferred but not required
Experience with energy simulation tools such as DOE-2, E-Quest, and Visual DOE
Experience with life cycle costing simulation tools such as BEES.

Primary responsibilities include management and design of mechanical systems for sustainable projects, as well as the support of all sustainable design and marketing efforts.
