| RNL Design worked
with firms Cooper Roberts Simonsen, Fehr & Peers, and Carter+Burgess
to design a site plan, architectural concepts, a transit operations plan,
a commercial development concept, and T.O.D. plan for the intermodal transit
center. The team developed the design in a competition sponsored by Salt
Lake City and the UTA. Challenges included renovation of two historic warehouses as operations and commercial space, retail space in a new building on the site, and pedestrian crossings over freight rail lines adjacent to the site. |
