The Cable Center's Drendel Garden will serve as a forecourt to the main building entrance and as overflow space for the Hall of Fame reception room inside, and a graceful point of connection to the campus and to the adjacent Magness Arena and the Ritchie Sports and Wellness Center.

The numerous and diverse activities that occur on the site overlap into several of the outdoor spaces, creating a very active and dynamic pedestrian corridor providing a prominent, engaging entrance to the University.
