Joint Port of Entry: Sweet Grass, Montana / Coutts, Alberta
				Kate Diamond, FAIA, while with Siegel Diamond Architecture, was Lead Designer for this joint-use facility on the CanaMex Highway, a highly efficient transportation route supporting trade between Canada, the United States and Mexico. The project is the first large-scale effort with funding and active planning and development by both Canada and the United States. The near but imperfect symmetry of the entire site and building parti reflects the slight variations between the functional requirements of each country and the subtle yet important cultural differences.
